I am very excited to show you the new set of brushes by Real Techniques from Samantha Chapman. They are Ltd Edition and they will be available for a year.

I really like this brand and already own the core collection, my impression of the existing range is that they are good value, perform well, super soft and do not shed. What's more because they are synthetic they are cruelty free and they dry a lot quicker, so no reason to miss washing those brushes girls!

Let's take a look at them.

Note that the colourway is different to the usual techniques, these are white and black with the brush names on the handle, I think they look really good and professional. 

The concept of these brushes is that they are used for a lighter and buildable application and to add dimension. 

Duo-fiber face brush 

This brush is fairly dense, with quite a bit of give to it, I have tried it with liquid and powder foundation, it works well and gives a light even coverage, it's also great for finishing powder, it would be difficult to over apply your makeup with this brush. 

Duo-fiber contour brush

This brush is brilliant for contour it fit's well into your cheekbone its also good for super pigmented blush as you can apply lightly and define your face. 

Duo-fiber eye brush

This brush is really effective for blending colour into the crease of your eye and great for applying eye primer and under eye concealer. I also like it for contouring your nose and applying highlighter to your cupids bow. I did notice that this brush is slightly less soft then the other two. But overall it still performed well.  

To summarise a truly multitasking set of brushes and great addition to a fantastic range.
