Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

6:30 pm

Hey lovelies

As a huge Urban Decay fan I was highly excited when they added to the Naked range with a  palette of 6 matt (all but one) neutral shades, that can take you from day to night. If you only have one eye palette, you can't really go wrong picking this one up.

The palette comes in a travel friendly rectangle compact, with a Nars-like rubber finish. Although the palette looks small, the eyeshadows are full size and it contains a mirror, I love the clean minimalistic packaging of this compact.

The six shades are as follows:
Venus - is a highlighter in a champagne colour with a satin finish, the only shade which is not completely matt.
Foxy - is a pale yellow beige.
WOS (walk of shame) - is a pale slightly pink beige.
Naked 2 - is a soft taupe.
Faint -  is a meduim slighlty warm brown.
Crave - is a dark black with brown undertones.

Left to right Venus, Foxy, W. O. S, Naked 2, Faint and lastly Crave.

The formula is finely milled and buttery soft with good colour payoff, also because it contains a highlight shade and a dark black it truly can be used as a stand alone palette, which you can use to create a subtle eye suitable for work or a smoky eye for a night out. If you already have the Naked 1 & 2 Palette you may not need this palette unless you are a huge fan of matt shades.

A quick look using UD Naked Basics Palette.

The Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette can be purchased here Link for £18 as Debenhams are having a sale at the moment.
