L'Oréal Colour Riche Mono Eyeshadow

3:29 pm

L'Oréal Colour Riche Mono Eyeshadows are a gel infused pressed pigment, they are a little similar to the L'Oréal Infallible Eyeshadows but without the faff. They are packaged in square shaped compacts that stack nicely in the Muji storage, and because they are so cute they activate my makeup hoarding tendencies *gotta catch them all*.
The texture is really unique unlike any eyeshadow I have used before, the formula is creamy and the colour payoff is really intense, the best way to apply them is to pat them on with your finger, there is minimal fall out because of the gel texture which adheres to your eyelids really well. It is worth mentioning that because they are a pressed pigment you have to be careful not to drop them or bang them about too much because they will crack in the pan, On the L'Oréal website there is 24 shades which range from neutrals to bright pops of colour in 6 different finishes Nude, Matt, Pop, Smoky, Cameleon and Lumiere.

I have four shades 205 Sable Lame (Nude Finish)  201Cafe Saint Germain (Nude Finish) 306 Place Vendome (Smoky Finish)  and 502 Quartz Fume (Lumiere Finish)

As you can see I have picked netural shades,  which is not really a surprise! You can see from the swatches they are a shiny finish without any large glitter particles, you really need to try them out too see how creamy they feel and how metallic and sheeny the finish is, my swatches do not really do them justice. There is a couple of other shades I have spotted that I really fancy such as La Vie En Rose which is a pretty peachy-pink shade and Escape in Bordeaux which looks very much like Mac Cranberry, and they cost £5.99 each.

Have you given them a whirl yet?
