H&M Beauty

H&M have released a 700 piece makeup collection, so to say the least the range is extensive, we are not talking about the odd lip balm next to the till. I became really excited after watching the lovely Kathleen Lights in a haul video and so I decided that I needed a little H&M hauling of my own! I used a Black Friday code and picked up four goodies online from the range.
Firstly the packaging is beautiful, monochrome with touches of gold give the appearance of high end without the price tag, the compacts are lightweight plastic so it feels obvious that they are budget when you pick them up in your hand, I still appreciate that they look chic. But on to the actual products inside which I am pleased to say are really good!
High Impact Eye Colour in shades Orange Ochre and Baci Di Dama. The eyeshadows are smooth and buttery and they feel gel like to the touch and are like a pressed pigment. The shade Orange Ochre may look a bit intimating but it makes the loveliest shade to work into the outer V of the eyelid for a surprisingly wearable everyday look. Baci Di Dama is a beautiful all-over the lid colour, it is a subtle gold colour that brightens and opens the eyes, this color is essential in every girls collection and if you only pick up one thing from the collection then pick this up. Both shades last all day on my lids and looked really vibrant.
Pure Radiance Powder Blusher in shade Brown Sugar the formula of this blusher is smooth and the colour may seem sheer but quickly builds up and blends well onto the skin, I would agree that it adds radiance and it does not have any glitter particles, this shade is a tawny peach, and is ideal for when you have gone either bold lips or smokey eyes and you just need a little something something on the cheeks. There is 10 shades on the website and they all look really nice. The eyeshadows and the Blushers are both made in Italy and in my experience powder products made in Italy are really high quality.
Cream Lipstick in Rust Me the lipstick is really creamy and nourishing and glides onto the lips, this shade is a lovely warm mid toned orangey red, it has quite a glossy finish but dries down and lasts well, because it is quite glossy it works better used with a lipliner to keep things from getting smudgy, it has a pleasant smell and feels comfortable on the lips. Also the gold bullet with cream lid and H&M logo is really cute.
