I may have mentioned that I had banned buying foundation till I used up my current stash, but when auntie Barbara gets you a Debenhams voucher for Christmas and Make Up Forever are now available at Debenhams you know it's fate. One of my favourite Ytubers the stunning Karima from Shamelessfripperies did a first impressions on Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation she mentioned that the shade 120/Y245 ran slightly warm on her, I knew it would be the perfect shade for me.  There is 40 shades which are categorised in light, meduim and dark and shades with the letter R suit red toned skin (cool)  and Y equals  yellow toned skin. So I believe almost everyone can find a match. The shade 120/Y245 is a absolute perfect match for me. Now lets talk about the formula, Make Up Forever claim this base is invisible on 4k camera and to the naked eye. I am currently experiencing some texture issues because of the cold weather so my skin is fairly dry in areas, I feel it is fair to say the foundation is undetectable, and it is more my skin to blame for my base not looking perfectly smooth. The formula is extremely lightweight and blends well into the skin, it photographs beautifully almost as if you have used a soft focus lense so it is perfect to use for a special occasion. The foundation has great 

longevity, the coverage is light with one layer but can be built up to meduim coverage and the finish is satin and very skinlike. The only challenge really is getting colour matched from swatches online, a way around this is to find a ytuber that looks a similar colour to you who may wear the same shade as you in another brand you already own or by using Temptalia's foundation matrix here. In conclusion Make Up Forever Ultra HD gets the thumb of approval from me and is available from Debenhams here
