To say I was excited when I saw that Gwen Stefani was collaborating with Urban Decay to design a new eyeshadow palette is a bit of an understatement and I absolutely couldn't wait to get my mitts on it. There is 15 colours in the palette 12 new shades and 3 existing shades. The packaging is absolutely stunning in gold black and white and on the inside there's a  nod to the No Doubt song "Magic's in the music" written on the mirror. The new shades have all been named by Gwen herself and that plus the three shades create her idea of the perfect palette.

Formula wise the mattes in the palette are buttery smooth and really blendable and the shimmers are really nice too. The only shade that is hard to work with is Pop which is very glittery the performance of this might be improved with some Mac Fix+

I think this palette is really nice and it contains everything you need to create a multitude of looks from day to night. I also like that there is 3 matte mid toned browns in the middle row which are fantastic crease shades as a starting point for creating a blended and gradient effect. If you are a regular on these parts you will have heard me profess love for concealers before and for the sake of being thorough in my research and because the battle against dark circles is real (I am being dramatic for the LOL's) the search has continued.....it is currently on hold for the love of Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. Now I have been testing this for over 3 months, I am on my second tube, and I am pleased to report its is really good. It comes in a sleek container with a conveniently sized doe foot applicator which dispenses just the right amount of product. The formula is extremely light and still packs a punch in the coverage department, I have found it suitable for under the eyes and for concealing spots and redness. It has a dryer texture then other concealers so you have to work quickly to blend out the edges before it dries. It doesn't crease or settle into fine lines and has really good staying power. I am currently using the shade Light Warm which is pefect for undereye concealing as it is a little lighter then my face, my first tube was in the shade Light Neutral which I felt was closer to my natural colour so suited better to cover blemishes and redness. My only criticism is that the smell of the concealer is a little odd however this dissapates almost immediately, also the shade range could be more comprehensive, but if you can find your shade I would highly recommend it. As a huge Urban Decay fan I was highly excited when they added to the Naked range with a  palette of 6 matt (all but one) neutral shades, that can take you from day to night. If you only have one eye palette, you can't really go wrong picking this one up.

Just thought I'd talk to you about some of my personal favourite products and the shades that I use. I can do a in depth review of any of these products if you want me to, but I thought I would give you the roundup as a starting point,
